Digital Storytelling – Technological Innovation in Child Education
ABSTRACT: This study is related to child education and its methodologies. It seeks to present children in their total aspects and how the school environment, the materials, technology, methodology itself alongside the educator influence the child’s learning processes.
Presents, also, how children respond to the world and understand it and which characteristics need to be taken under consideration for the development of a product inside this thematic. The project aims developing a concept product for a specific action, storytelling.
Telling stories in English for children in foreign language classrooms is the most effective and practical way of passing through the content to them. However, this finds itself out of date and each time less effective, in a slow process due to the fast development of different technologies.
This project will try to evolve all of these aspects and consider them for the creation of a product with an innovative technology and adequate to its education aspect. Key-words: Product Design; Child Education, Technological Interactivity; Storytelling; Design Thinking.
