The campaign of Coca-Cola¹, guided by #ChooseHappiness or “Happiness starts with a smile,” presents a man who starts laughing alone on the subway; immediately everyone around him were caught on and start laughing too. From this video, I understood that make a better world could come from something simple but very valuable, like to bring join to the day of one single person or various unique people.
How does the design enter into this concept? Many people use the subway every day around the world, but what if the trains extrapolate the transport itself? And what if they were fun? Or what if they were interactive and communicative as a small exhibition center, as a band discography with the Beatle’s theme? The design, together with aesthetics and functionality, shall provide a unique experience: feeling, memory or even some questioning.
