The competition is open to students and professionals from all over the world aged 21 to 44. The winners will be rewarded with 5 scholarships for master courses in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Visual Design, Transportation and Car Design and Web Digital Design.
The Master’s courses offered by SPD are organised in collaboration with IULM University and award academic degree certificates recognised by the MIUR – Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research – and the relevant credits under the ECTS system.
The theme of the competition “Design students make a better world”. The starting point is the candidate’s creativity to make a better world. To be creative, curious and sensitive can define our own personality and design. New ideas, modern concepts and respect for tradition and the environment can help the world be a better place for everybody. Use your design tools, your independent and qualified point of view to propose solutions, spaces, and products to make the world much better through a new perspective.
Candidates must develop the theme related to the postgraduate or master’s program they wish to apply for. The projects and images selected will be published on the site “Design Studies Competition” http://www.studentcompetition.design/ and can receive ratings, comments and still be sponsored by internet users through their Facebook newsfeed.
A jury of experts will award scholarships to the best works. The deadline for submitting projects is 8th April 2016.
